Hi, my name is Wilder and I was staff member on MMCC from December 2016 to September 2019. I got removed from the position and banned from the community due to reasons I will try to summarize in the following lines:
As a staff member I liked playing my way (i.e. building my house in creative mode to spare the time gathering materials). Another fellow staff member found out and reported me to the owners.
My initial viewpoint was that I was not hurting anybody else's gameplay except mine. I said I would go against the owner's decision to stop cheating items in (not wise in hindsight) so I got removed from the staff team.
I said players would leave the community due to them being attached to me as a staff member (which was viewed as me threatening the community), therefore I was also prompty banned network-wide. I know it was wrong to refuse to respect the decision of the authority on how to settle the issue.
I am not by any means asking to be reinstated as Staff, I am aware with the issue at hand I would have to try to rebuild trust before that is even the slightest bit considered. I'm back into modded Minecraft and I am asking to be unbanned from the servers and Discord so I can progress just like every other normal Guest/Member.
