i used a chess transporter and moved a blaze spawner from the nether fortress to the over world, and made a farm, then after about an hour, the spawner was jsut gone, it didnt break and drop shards, it was jsut gone.

edit: it looks to be a feature or plugin fucking stuff up. can it be double checked? i played omni factory a couple months ish ago on another servert and had no issue moving spawners same method.
the pack has had a few updates so one of those maybe, or the server plugins ar messing it up, idk, please look into it if you can

also, it seems spawners worth more, last less, blazes lasted a short time and zombies lasted a while, and skele somewhere in the middle of the 2 (blaze very good, skele useful and zombies shit)

    As per ingame discussion this has been seen before and after the reset. I'd describe it as a bug but not something we'll spend time looking to resolve as the use of spawners in the game isnt the intent of the modpack owner, mob drops are expected to be gained via DML (Deep Mod Learning) which starts on the beginner quest tab.

    If you wish i'll hand over some blaze rods in compensation for the loss. Just contact me ingame. Anyone else up to this point i'll offer the same compensation.

      Took a fair bit of digging, especially as I'm moderator and not admin (and hence have not server host access).

      From what i'm seeing we run a spawner mod on OF which limited placed spawners to 100 cycles after which it will go break/be destroyed.

      Suggestion for this pack regarding this are:

      1. Use DML it's the natural successor on OF for this purpose, drops LOTS of xp which seems to be the main need for thos who have them. It's also possible to make spawners representing mobs you dont have access too and with the loot fabricators get items reliably and with less server load.
      2. Dont move spawners, there's plenty in lost cities buildings to cover overworld needs just claim the spot and put a wall/killer around it.
      3. If you really really really really really want spawners either near your base or of types you cant get in the overworld I suggest you make a powered spawner but that wont be possible if you are early to pack.
