Issue Description:
Lag caused the purple checker texture to appear when I break it with a wrench, I broke the checker texture, then there's no item dropped

Exact steps to reproduce the issue:
Get a gt wrench, break a machine and wait for the purple checker pattern, break that textured block with a wrench -> no item drop
